5 Valentine's Day Gift Ideas

Valentine's Day will be here before we know it, and this is the perfect time to start planning and gathering a few gift ideas.  Here are a few Valentine's Day gift ideas that are perfect to show your love and appreciation.

1. Create a love jar by designing a jar and filling it with some love notes. It's a perfect gift for someone you care about. If you're interested in making one, check out my DIY love jar post. The love jar

2. Baking together a Valentine's box is an ideal choice for those who love to bake sweet treats together. It includes two aprons, ingredients for your baked goods, a candle, and a recipe card. To add a personal touch, opt for plain aprons that you can decorate as per your liking. You can even iron a picture of you and your loved one onto the aprons.

3. The Valentine playlist - Creating a playlist of favorite songs that remind you of your loved one is an easy and heartfelt gesture.

4. The DIY paint box- This kit contains everything needed for a fun evening of painting together, including brushes, paint, canvas, and your choice of ceramics.

5. DIY conversation starter cards- One activity that I really enjoy is creating a set of question cards to ask my partner. To do this, you will need some blank cards and come up with a list of questions to ask your partner. You can also add some special cards that express your appreciation and care for them. This is a great way to strengthen your relationship and have some fun together.

Do you celebrate Valentine's Day? If so, what are your plans to show your love, and appreciation for the special person in your life? I'd love to hear about it. Feel free and leave a comment below.

  7. I love the idea of the valentines baking together box! My husband and I bake often together, so this would be so perfect for us. I've been meaning to find him his own apron, so this would definitely be a great opportunity to do that and add it into a cute gift. Thanks for the idea! I had honestly forgotten about valentines day coming up.

  9. The ceramic paint box sounds like so much fun! My husband and I don't celebrate Valentine's Day, however, we have been talking about doing a 'paint night' for date night one day in the near future. There are a lot of tutorials for them readily available on YouTube, you just have to purchase the supplies.

If you love finding new DIY ideas and learning from other bloggers, you’re in the perfect spot! Hi everyone! How was your week? This week, we were blessed with more rain, and I am so thankful. It's been a hot summer with wildfires and droughts, so it's nice to have a few days to cool down a bit. Below, I've shared two photos that I posted on my Instagram story. The first one shows one of our lovely hummingbirds relaxing on the swing near the feeder. I love watching them from our dining room window. In the second photo, we had another visitor at the feeder, and the sunlight shining through the window that evening was absolutely beautiful. I'd say this week was a nice one. DIY Floral Wooden Jack‑O’‑Lanterns (Easy Fall Decor)

I’ve been having so much fun creating fall projects this year. These floral wooden jack‑o’‑lanterns  started as simple wooden pumpkins, but with a few pretty transfers and some soft paint colors, they turned into the sweetest little fall accents. I love how the florals give them a cozy, cottage‑style feel while still keeping that classic jack‑o’‑lantern charm. They’re quick to make, easy to customize, and such a cute way to add a warm autumn touch to your home. Watch the video tutorial Materials Wooden pumpkin cutouts Floral transfers Acrylic paint (your chosen colors) Gold acrylic paint Green acrylic paint Mini dowels Hot glue gun + glue sticks Small wooden stands Brown acrylic paint Paintbrushes   Add the floral transfers I started by placing my floral transfers onto each wooden pumpkin, just arranging them until they felt right. Once they were where I wanted them, I used a little rubbing tool to press them down and transfer the design onto the wood. Take your time with this...

I hope all is well with each of you! This week, the weather was beautiful. Of course, it's a tease—where we live, they call it "false Spring." I'll just enjoy it while it lasts. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, we’re taking daily walks, and the sunsets have been stunning. There’s still snow on the mountains, but we had a wonderful visit to the nature center where we admired some beautiful artwork. Congratulations to our featured bloggers - Amy from Amy's Creative Pursuits shared her "Summer Jobs Dirty Dozen Card Making" project.
