DIY Colorful Summer Hanging Design

Hello all! This craft is easy and a lot of fun. I recently came across assorted fruit stickers at my local Dollar Tree, and I thought of using them for a summer craft. Today, we'll be making a colorful summer hanging design. I only had to buy the stickers for this, and I spent around three dollars on this project. I already had most of the materials on hand.

Materials:

- Assorted fruit stickers

- Summer word wood decoration

- Wood frame

- Paint

- Faux succulents

- Paintbrush or sponge brush

- Twine

- Hot glue

- Scissors

- Floral cutters

Start by applying paint to your wooden frame. Apply around two coats of paint.

Set your frame aside, and allow it to dry.

Next, begin painting your wooden summer word decoration. Add gems or glitter. Then set it aside to dry.

Once the frame and decorations are dry, use hot glue to attach your summer word decoration to the sign.

After, take your assorted stickers, and begin to add them to your wood frame.

You are now ready to cut your succulents. Use floral cutters to trim them to the desired length. We will attach the trimmed succulents to the bottom of the frame using hot glue.

Take each succulent and apply glue to the bottom section of your frame to attach them.

All that remains is to take a piece of twine and attach it to the back of your frame. Form a loop and glue the ends together.

Your vibrant summer hanging design is finished! I enjoyed how simple it was to make. Enjoy your crafting!
