  9. Stephanie, Thanks so much for hosting! Also, I love your zoo post! Seeing the various animals swimming in the water sounds great! Love your pictures! and the giraffe feeding sounds wonderful! enjoyed your comment about learning to read the zoo map-the only more confusing map in my opinion is that of a large amusement park - so I guess I too need to learn how to read the map (smile). Loved the meerkat picture - made me think of the Lion King. I also have a zoo post this week #23 so its fun that the zoos are so different, yet both great!! I just love seeing different zoos!! I'm also sharing tablescapes at 21 and 22. Thanks again for hosting!! - Patty

The Crazy Little Lovebirds Link Party 105

Welcome to The Crazy Little Love Birds Link Party #105! This party offers a platform for sharing inspiring content, including recipes, family-friendly blog posts, crafts, home décor, and other uplifting ideas. Happy Friday! How is everyone doing? While I'm at it, how's the weather where you are? Our temperatures are starting to cool off; tomorrow, they say our high will be in the 60s.  We're still seeing a few hummingbirds at the feeder, and I recently made a ladybug house so that if any want a place to stay when the weather gets colder, they can move right in. I've never had one myself, but I did some research before building it. It's essentially a bug hotel. They have the cutest bee hotel at our local nature center, too. So it helped me with a few different ideas. I hope you are all doing well, and if I haven't told you lately, thank you so much for joining the party each week. I appreciate all of you! Now, onto the wonderful featured posts. Congratulations,...

DIY Tea Tin Planter for Sweet Mint

Today’s tiny DIY win: turning an empty lemon‑ginger tea tin into a planter for a sweet mint plant that needed some love. I cleaned the tin, added drainage, and nestled the mint inside. Quick Video Tutorial  I began this little project by cleaning out an empty metal tea container that I had saved. It still held a soft scent of lemon and ginger, and I loved the idea of giving it a second life. Once I washed and dried it, the container felt ready for a new purpose.   Next, I used a finishing nail and a hammer to create a few drainage holes in the bottom of the tin. Since metal containers don’t have natural drainage, this step helps keep the roots healthy and prevents the soil from becoming soggy. Having prepared the container, I carefully removed the sweet mint from its original pot. The ...
