Hello everyone, and thank you for joining us for link party #42. I'm happy to have you here, and if you are new to the link party, welcome! I hope you enjoy your time here.
Before the party...
Hey everyone, how's it going? It's been getting pretty hot here. The girls and I have been taking morning walks while the temps are cooler. During our walks, we visit with the geese and the turtles.

Last month, I bought a small birdbath for the birds. I didn't expect many birds to visit, but we've had quite a few stopping by for a drink and a splash in the water.

My husband also built a hummingbird station for me, which holds two feeders and a swing. We have had a few visitors stop for a visit and swing.

Oh, before I forget, while shopping at our local Lowe's store, we noticed a sign attached to a pot that said "Do not disturb." As we approached, we noticed a Robin nesting in the pot. About a week later, we saw the babies nestled in the nest. Isn't this so sweet? We really enjoyed this beautiful sight.

I hope you are all well. Thank you for sharing at the party. I appreciate and enjoy reading your posts.

It started with my husband having a cough, sore throat, sneezing, and whole-body aches. Of course, that was passed on to the rest of us, but we have been so fortunate to just have a sore throat. This calls for plenty of hydration, vitamin C, and occasional medication. I hope you all had a nice week. Just yesterday, the weather reached 102 degrees! It definitely was hot out. Now, onto the party, we have some wonderful featured posts to share this week. Thank you to everyone who joined last week, and if you are new here, welcome! We're so gl...

DIY Tea Tin Planter for Sweet Mint

Today’s tiny DIY win: turning an empty lemon‑ginger tea tin into a planter for a sweet mint plant that needed some love. I cleaned the tin, added drainage, and nestled the mint inside. It instantly brightened up the space — the colors on the tin and the fresh green leaves look so sweet together. I love giving everyday items a second life, especially when they end up this cute. Quick Video Tutorial  I began this little project by cleaning out an empty metal tea container that I had saved. It still held a soft scent of lemon and ginger, and I loved the idea of giving it a second life. Once I washed and dried it, the container felt ready for a new purpose.   Next, I used a finishing nail and a hammer to create a few drainage holes in the bottom of the tin. Since metal containers don’t have natural drainage, this step helps keep the roots healthy and prevents the soil from becoming soggy. Having prepared the container, I carefully removed the sweet mint from its original pot. The ...

Colorful Summer Flower: Recycled Paper Towel DIY

Looking to bring a little sunshine into your space without visiting the craft store? This whimsical summer flower decoration makes great use of what you already have—think beads, pom poms, a humble paper towel tube, and a splash of acrylic paint. Bonus: it’s the perfect way to reuse an old frame and welcome summer in style! What You’ll Need: 1 paper towel tube (emptied, of course!) Acrylic paint (I chose a deeper pink) Craft pom poms (yellow makes a great center!) Assorted beads (medium for the stem, smaller for embellishing the petals) Foam letters (for your summer message) A reused frame (square or any shape of your choice) Scissors Hot glue gun Creating your summer flower decoration Cut the Tube and Shape the Petals :  Start by cutting the paper towel tube into four evenly-sized sections. Each section will serve as a petal. You should be left with four rings. Next, flatten each ring, then gently reshape it to form soft ovals. These will mimic delicate flower...
