The Crazy Little Lovebirds Link Party 56

Welcome to The Crazy Little Love Birds Link Party #56! Our party is a platform to share inspiring content such as recipes, family-friendly posts, crafts, home decor, and anything inspiring.

Hello everyone! This past weekend, we celebrated my youngest daughter's 10th birthday. I decided to make her a cookie cake. We also visited The Ice Cream Lab. One of her requests was to visit an animal rescue, which we were not able to do since a few other activities took place. We're hoping to take her soon. Thank you for joining us for the party. I enjoy visiting and reading everyone's posts.

Now, onto the party! We have some great featured bloggers this week. Congratulations to them!

Jennifer at Easy Pantry Recipes has shared a pantry-friendly recipe for Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies that is both gluten-free and can easily be made sugar-free. Who's ready to bake some? Head on over and check out her recipe.

Mariama at Food Nutters has shared a recipe for Brie and pear puff pastry, and I am so excited to try this out! I am sure that the combination of the brie with the pear will leave your taste buds wanting more! Head over and check out her step-by-step recipe tutorial.

If you want to cozy up with a book, Natasha at Serenity You shares 50 Books to Read in the Autumn. You may find a book or more that you will want to add to your fall reading list.

Terri at Nutz about Stamping shares a stamp set called Changing Leaves. She created a beautiful card creation. This card is perfect as we enter the fall season.

  4. Your daughter's birthday sounds so nice! I hope you have a nice birthday celebration too this month - Happy Birthday! Is your daughter's visit to the animal shelter one to consider a pet, or do you visit to socialize with them. I have heard of Shelter's letting you come an eat your lunch with a "resident of the shelter" and some that let you take them on a walk. I think all of those things are great ideas - of course I would want to bring them all home so not sure that would work for me. I hope your daughter has a great time. - Patty

    1. Oh, Patty, you're always so kind. We appreciate the birthday wishes. She had a great time. There's a rescue she wanted to visit. They have goats, pigs, camels, and a few other animals that they've rescued. They have an area there where she can feed them and visit with them. Our oldest daughter wants to volunteer at the humane society where she can spend time with the animals and keep them company. We told her we would look into it. I hear you about wanting to bring all the animals home. ♡♡ Thank you for being so kind. It is appreciated so much.

  6. Happy birthday! It sounds your daughter is a special soul, not everyone wants to visit an animal shelter so I hope she will have that chance soon. And thank you again for featuring our pear and brie puff pastry! I do hope you'll love it, that flavour of cheese and pears baked together is indeed one of those "out of the world" combinations. Happy weekend though, let your days be bright and sunny as possible.
