I hope everyone is doing well. Last weekend, we took our car in for maintenance. While we waited, we went across the street to look at a few cars. Honestly, I don't enjoy car shopping because I find the salespeople to be very pushy, not all but every time we have gone we have experienced this.

 

A week before Christmas last year, we were involved in a hit-and-run accident, and the person who hit us fled the scene. She left some scratches and minor dents on our vehicle. We later discovered that she was driving with a suspended license. Working with the police to sort everything out has been a hassle. On the bright side, we found a car detailing shop and received a quote for the repairs.-Yes it has taken this long! 

 

Anyway, enough about me! I can't wait to share these wonderful features with all of you.

    So sorry about your car. I also am not a big fan of pushy salespeople. I tend to walk out of shops if the salesperson hangs over me.

    I'm sorry to hear about your accident, but I'm glad you found a place that can get your car back to its original condition. It sounds like it's been quite a journey to get to this place!

    Obviously this has been stressful, car repairs, car replacements and car insurance processes, always are, no matter how nice your own insurance agent might be. But there is just something different about a hit and run....kind of like a break in when you aren't home, you are left to deal with all of it on your own.       Melynda, thank you. Yes, there is something different about a hit and run. We thought getting out and exchanging information with the driver was the right thing to do, but she reversed and sped off. We were lucky to get photos of her vehicle and license plate.     I just bought a car two weeks ago so I feel your pain with the salespeople. I don't know why that industry is slimy, but I wanted to take a shower after we got home. :/ I shared 19 & 20 this time and am off now to visit other posts. Thank you so much for hosting, Stephanie!

    Stephanie, thank you so much for featuring my journaling post! That makes me so happy, and I truly appreciate it! I'm so sorry about your accident. I know what you mean about car shopping. We bought our last 2 cars from a good car rental company near us. The cars were a year old and had been maintained beautifully. It has worked out for us, so I recommend it to others!
