Little colorful box monster. A craft for little hands

This hands-on craft is so much fun! At times it can get a little messy, but it's tons of fun. My daughter absolutely enjoyed this fun craft. We named it- Little colorful box monster. It's colorful and designed by my daughter.  For this craft you will need: -An empty box. -We used a tissue box.  -Craft/construction paper -Scissors -Paint -Glue stick  -and anything you would like to add to your little monster. stamps, stickers, beads-etc. Since we used a tissue box we can easily insert items into the monster's mouth. -Mail, battery-operated candles, candy, and more!  Get creative when designing your monster box. Cover your box with craft paper. We chose white paper. This made it easy for my daughter to paint and create her own look for it. We added some teeth and a few sparkly stick-on. I promise your kids will enjoy this craft! :) Thanks for stopping by!  Hello and welcome new readers!

Simple and cute snack container

Looking for a simple and cute snack container? Check out this DIY tutorial on how to create an adorable snack container using reused materials. It's an eco-friendly and creative way to store your favorite snacks! When we're out and about, we like to bring along some snacks, especially for our daughter in case we're gone for a while. Recently, I made a practical and adorable snack container by repurposing an empty Nesquik chocolate milk container. Materials -Scissors -Craft paper -Glue -washi tape (optional) Step 1: Adding the paper to the container  Start by aligning the craft paper with the container, then glue it on.  After completing step 1, add some washi tape to the bottom of the container for additional design.  All that is left is to fill your container with a few snacks and goodies.  You have completed the task! Enjoy your easy-to-carry snack container, which is very useful and saves money on buying new containers....

Packing for my hospital stay.

Truth is, I overpacked for my first pregnancy! My stay was short and we packed like we were staying for quite some time. I'm more prepared this time around. Packing less for mommy and baby. These products are a few products I'll pack in my personal bag. Not all products are pictured below. These are just a few.  1. Clean and Clear- Morning burst facial scrub . I absolutely love how refreshing this scrub is. Its light citrus smell will for sure refresh you in the morning. I'm sure this will come in handy for my hospital stay. It's actually a tiny bottle I picked up from Target. 2. Nivea Smooth Sensation . This lotion is light weight and has a nice soft clean scent. My skin tends to dry out. I can use all the moisture I can get.   3. Softsoap body wash. This time I'm packing smaller bottles of each product. It helps to not take up so much room. 4. Body Oil. I currently use this right after my shower. Just a few drops and your skin is left feel...

Warm Sunny days.

“Every summer there are a number of nights, not many, but a number when everything is perfect. The light, the warmth, the smells, the mist, the birdsong – the moths. Who can sleep? Who wants to?”  ―  Fredrik Sjöberg ,  The Fly Trap: A Book about Summer, Islands and the Freedom of Limits Summer happenings Time in my garden.- I've had so many visitors in my garden these past few days. The rain has brought moisture and new life. Bumblebees, baby birds, butterflies, caterpillars and hummingbirds.-They all stop by for a brief hello and go on their way.  Arranging flowers. - My daughter has been making her very own flower arrangements from the garden. We snip a few flowers together. She's always prepared, wearing her tiny little garden gloves. Soon after, she arranges her flowers.-Just the way she wants them. It's beautiful and I'm glad she enjoys her arrangement.  The weather is warm. - We still have days that the ra...

Summer days at home.

It's been raining a lot! We actually had two days when the rain came falling down the entire day. It was dark and gloomy out. A few days before, we took a little trip out to Target. We picked up some puzzles and melty beads. -Their dollar aisle is amazing! We actually ended up throwing in a small, simple kite.  At home, we have enjoyed putting together puzzles. Our daughter absolutely loves working on puzzles. Her face lights up, and she's so proud when she puts her puzzles together all by herself. Of course, we're proud of her too.   I also came across some melty beads. Oh, what a fun little project to get your hands on. On a rainy evening, we worked on our melty beads. It took some time, and with the leftover beads, our daughter will create one of her own. She was such a great helper. After we were all done, we took them and added some magnetic tape on the back, and added them to the fridge.    Recently, we bought a new ...

Quiet, peaceful days

This particular day, it was quiet. The weather was cool and the sun hid behind the clouds. This day was great for sitting out at the park. It was a very quiet, peaceful outing. We made our way out to the park. -Kids were playing soccer, and volleyball and adults were grilling under the gazebo.  We sat under a tree and set our blanket up. Our daughter ran in circles, exploring and waving at other children. Eventually, she ran around and played tag with this little boy off in the distance. My husband joined them.  They built castles and forts in the sand. I stayed back. Relaxing and catching up on some reading. It was nice. I took my sandals off. What a relief, for my pregnant feet. Surprisingly they aren't so swollen, just really uncomfortable these days. After reading, I had time to reflect on a few things. Clearing my thoughts and taking in the fresh air.-It was so peaceful. Days like this come and go. When we are able to enjoy da...

Encouraging Thoughts For Your Day.

Remember... Live your life to the fullest.  Be a shoulder to lean on. Learn to love and experience life. Tell your children daily- how much you love them .-They grow so fast. In life, there will be disappointments and letdowns. But remember to give it all you got.  Remember that you are unique and one of a kind.  Remember that hugs feel good, so why not hug a little longer? A hug changes everything. Remember... How much you are truly loved. -Yes you! You're loved by so many.  When you start to doubt things, remember positive thoughts. You'll be amazed at how quickly your thoughts can change.  Remember to smile, it looks good on you! Take trips- long trips, short trips. Just enjoy those moments on the road.  Remember that it's hard to change some people.- Sometimes it's best to love some people from a distance. It doesn't mean giving up on them, give them a little space.  Some things can be challenging but when y...
