Peaceful moment.

This peaceful moment... Took place in August 2014.- It was a beautiful day. My oldest daughter and I had finished picking a few flowers from the garden. Those moments when you want to hit pause, and just be in that moment. May we all cherish those simple joyful moments in our lives. My Simple joyful moments. -Dancing with my children. - After a long week being able to take a few moments out each day to dance with our children. We absolutely cherish these moments. - We feel free and completely in the moment. - Laughter. - There's something about the power of laughter. In our home, we laugh several times during the day. - It just feels so good! It helps just break up any tension, stress, or just those cranky moments we all have from time to time. - Preparing dinner as a family. - We love to do this. We normally have some light music playing in the background and we'll head to the kitchen and prepare our meal. We laugh, talk, and sha...

This Peaceful moment... The weather was warm. We sat out on the front porch. My oldest daughter planted a few Chive seeds. We talked about what dish we'll later prepare them for when they are ready. DIY Easy Spring time wreath + Bonus mini wreath

I purchased all my materials at Michaels.- They were having a big sale, and I was lucky to find a few items on clearance.   If you want to make an easy springtime wreath, and this is maybe even your first time creating a wreath... here are some very simple steps. Below, you will find some easy do-it-yourself instructions on making your very own wreath. Materials Needed You will need: 1 wreath. - Any size of your choice. I am using a grapevine wreath. Flowers.- silk, or paper. Choose any flower material for your wreath. I am using a paper flower material Optional letters and butterfly clip Wire cutter.- If you chose flowers with wires in them, you'll probably want to use this to cut them when preparing them to be placed in your wreath. This peaceful moment... This was taken in September 2014. It took place on a hiking trail nearby.  The weather was absolutely beautiful, and these sunflowers blew gently in the wind. Home.- Lately

Cooking. Cleaning. Warmer weather. Lessons. Playtime. Library visits. Here we are. - Warmer weather has arrived. Okay, but wait just one minute... we're being told we'll get some colder weather this week. - Maybe even another snow shower. I've come to expect this kind of weather. We're definitely looking forward to spring. Lately, our trips to our local library are happening more often. I'll usually pick out a few books for both girls. - Every so often, my daughter will want to pick out her own books. She's constantly reminding me about how much, and how fast she is growing. I recently checked out a book on fun ways to garden for the whole family. I'm sure we'll get some good use out of this book. Last year I planted a few vegetables in pots. I'm thinking about expanding this year. - A bigger garden, and a lot more herbs. Do you like to garden? Last month, I made a large batch of Kimchi....
