Peaceful moment.

This peaceful moment... took place in April 2015. My oldest daughter and I took a few flowers from the garden and created  nature suncatchers. This was such a fun project. If you would love to make your own follow this link  Spring-catchers Enjoy! Each Thursday I will be posting a peaceful moment.  I would love to know what your peaceful moment has been during the week or a peaceful memory from the past. :)

Let Go. -Crumble it up and toss it out!

Let go of   Negative thoughts  In the morning right after you wake tell yourself these 3 things: 1. I am thankful. 2. I am able 3. I will do my absolute best! Let go of   P eople bringing you down There is absolutely no reason to have these people in your life. Are you trying to do better? If the answer is yes, let them go! Let go of  Always saying YES  I always thought I needed to please every single person who entered my life and so I was constantly saying yes. - I managed to stop this and it feels great. Saying no is okay to do and if the person truly understands where you are coming from it shouldn't bother them one bit. Let go of   The past This is something I struggle with. - I'm doing much better now, but truthfully I find myself slipping at times. (We all do and that is what makes us human). But honestly, we must learn to let go of past hurts. Once we learn to let go we can live a much happier life. ...

Peaceful moment. (A day late)

This peaceful moment... There was a slight breeze in the air.  And the sky was beautiful... I sat on my front porch admiring our blooming flowers. Each Thursday I'll be posting a peaceful moment that took place.  This peaceful moment is coming to you all a day late. This week has been a busy one! What was your peaceful moment for the week?

Making shakers. - A fun DIY for little ones.

I think I've mentioned before how much we enjoy dancing. My littlest one will be two this year, and her big sister turned five in April. They love to boogie! We usually play music and enjoy the moment. My two-year-old loves to shake and rattle things. We're always coming up with new ways to make shakers. This time, we used empty spice containers (plastic ones). So, if you have some empty ones at home, make some shakers for your little ones. It's super easy and fun for everyone. Post updated:7/30/2025 What you will need:   - Empty spice containers  - Beans  - Beads  - Anything fun you want to add to your shaker  - Permanent markers work best Step 1: Decorating Each Container   Start by decorating each container. Let your creativity shine and have fun with this process! We used permanent markers to decorate our jars, as they won't smear. I allowed my little ones to draw their designs, encouraging their creativity. Step 2: Fill Each Container ...

Peaceful moment.

This peaceful moment... It was a quiet Sunday. I took a tulip from my garden earlier in the week. This pink tulip sat on our kitchen windowsill... I believe it was an overcast day. It was nice to have just a little pop of color.                                               What was your peaceful moment for this week? ***** Each Thursday, I'll be posting a photo taken during a peaceful moment.

Peaceful moment.

This peaceful moment... March 2015... We arrived at our local library. My oldest daughter was happy to see the magic show. They had birds, bunnies, and a few other things for the kids to enjoy.                                               What was your peaceful moment for this week? ***** Each Thursday, I'll be posting a photo taken during a peaceful moment.

This month: Snapshots

Soft yellow.  Morning coffee. Coin sorting with my oldest. Bench building. Ah, spring. :) Magnets and chalk. Tiny greenhouse.  This month has treated us well. It wasn't as busy compared to the previous month.  We've managed to get a few projects done. We are still in the process of working on our front porch.  Soon I'll add some patio lights on the back porch. I'm looking forward to spending more time outdoors and us firing up the grill.- I must admit this is one of my favorite times.  How about you? How has this month treated you?  Until next time... I hope you all are enjoying this beautiful spring weather. -Stephanie ****Welcome new readers! I'm so happy to have you here. Enjoy your stay.****
