Peaceful moments.

Here are a few of my peaceful moments. Welcome, September! I absolutely love this time of year.  These two little scarecrows come out every year around this time.   I picked some mucho jalapenos from my potted garden.  I added a little soy sauce and sesame oil. I then sauteed them for a little. Game night. My littlest one and I played a game. She absolutely loves this game. And I absolutely love to see her smile.   An art assignment with my oldest.  We made an autumn leaf garland to hang in the window.   Yes, we decorate early. I honestly can't wait for Fall to arrive. :) Evening lattes with my husband. We sat and chatted for a few. I love these moments. I created my Autumn wreath last weekend. I'm pleased with how it turned out. I will now wait patiently for fall to arrive. But for now, the air is cool and all is well.  *** Each Thursday I will be posting a peaceful moment. ...

This peaceful moment... June 2016 A trip to the Denver Aquarium.   Our girls seem to love our time spent there. This was our third trip to visit the aquarium.   It never gets old.  *** Each Thursday I will be posting a peaceful moment. Lately.-Our days. (Peaceful moment)

Paper bracelet making. We used gems, sparkles, glitter, markers, scissors, and glue.  - My oldest absolutely loved them. I think she may have had more fun designing them.  My oldest daughter just started Kindergarten.  She is attending an online academy. I'm still teaching her from home, but this way she will still have a main teacher who will grade her work and live sessions with other students in her class. She will also attend field trips and much more! I'll continue to add in our own lessons and curriculum.  This morning we explored outdoors. This was for one of her science lessons. She observed a few lady bugs, a grasshopper and we talked about her five senses. We're excited to see how this school year goes.  Watching a quick introduction for a lesson.   Art lesson. - Learning about the different elements of shape. Straight line, curvy line, angle line, circles and dots. - We've gone over this during her preschool...

A quick snack. - peanut butter, chopped pecans, and raisins on toast... Enjoyed with a vanilla protein shake. Our morning visitor.- I think this is the one who has been stealing our strawberries! Preparing some kimchi... We are so thankful for each day. Life gets busy, but never forget to enjoy every moment. Our days are busy, but that's okay. - I'm happy that I get to spend it with the people I love!

Peaceful moment.

This peaceful moment took place in September 2015. It was a quiet evening and I took some time to work on an adult coloring sheet. Sometimes we just need to quiet our minds and do something we enjoy. A nice cup of tea, coloring pencils, and a creative coloring sheet. -Indeed, it was a very peaceful moment. *** Each Thursday I will be posting a peaceful moment.
