DIY: Easy Valentine's Wreath and Simple Heart Flower Arrangements

Learn to create beautiful and easy DIY Valentine's Day decorations with our step-by-step guide. Make a stunning wreath and heart flower arrangements to add a romantic touch to your home. Valentine heart wreath Materials Needed: - Wooden letters - Paint (any color of your choice) - Heart wreath - Silk flowers - Red twine - Mini clothespins I purchased most of my materials from Michaels, but you can easily find most of these items in a dollar store or a craft store. To begin, paint your wooden letters. I used white paint and red paint to create some hearts and red dots. After painting, set them aside. Next, arrange your flowers on the heart wreath. Use a wire cutter to snip each flower and place them in the desired arrangement. Once you've finished arranging the flowers, add the red twine to the back of the heart wreath. This will be used to hang the wreath. Finally, use the mini clothespins to hang the letters from the wreath. Once everything is in place, your project is...

“Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right.” ―Oprah Winfrey   Source We made it through another year. This year sure was a roller coaster. I didn't blog as much as I would have liked to. The beginning of the year was pretty rough after losing my father. I wish I could go back and just give him the biggest hug. Of course with the amazing support of my family and friends, I've managed to pull through. I'm reconnecting with those I once lost contact with and I'm just trying to live and experience life to the fullest. This year may not have started as a good one, but I think there are many life lessons and I'm learning each day that life is truly short and we need to cherish the ones we love and those who love us back. Stop trying to earn love from those who push you away.  Love those who have been with you through ups and downs and have never left your side. May you live life to the fullest. Smile more. H...

10 things to do to experience a happy, joyful, loving life.

Go for a walk. Explore some beautiful scenery and it never really hurts to get fresh air. Snuggle up with a good book. Hey maybe even listen to an audiobook. Read something inspiring, motivational, or even funny.  Hug someone. I hope you love hugs just as much as I do. I just love hugs from my family.  We can all use more hugs! Take a road trip. Again explore the beautiful scenery around you.  Take pictures of things you find fascinating, beautiful, and simple. You'll enjoy looking back on the photos you've taken. Call, or write a friend. I'm sure they will love hearing about all your new adventures and catching up is always so much fun. Find something you enjoy doing. Whether it's painting, knitting, creating pottery, or experimenting with a new recipe. Once you find out what it is take some time to enjoy that and maybe even turn it into a new hobby. Keep a journal. I've mentioned this before in a few other posts. It's a great way to release your t...

I've been enjoying making my own coffee drinks lately, and I wanted to share a quick and easy recipe for a delicious pumpkin latte that you can enjoy too! Here's what you'll need: Ingredients: - 2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree - 1 cup of milk (I like to use almond milk, but any kind will do) - Pumpkin spice (add to taste) - 1/4 cup of strong brewed coffee or espresso - A splash of vanilla extract - 1 tablespoon of whipped cream (I use dairy-free So Delicious Coco Whip, but any kind will work) To make your latte: 1. Warm up your milk in a saucepan. 2. Add in the pumpkin spice, vanilla extract, and pumpkin puree. 3. Stir everything together and let it simmer for a few minutes. 4. While that's simmering, brew your coffee or espresso. 5. Combine the coffee and pumpkin mixture in y...
