Seven.

Seven. Earlier this month our oldest turned 7. She's such a great big sister and we love her so very much. You're truly amazing. We absolutely love watching you grow. To be perfectly honest, you're teaching me so much as time goes on. I'm so proud to be your mother. My heart is full of love for both you and your sister. I hope that you know how loved you are. I love that you love math and want to be an astronaut when you're all grown up. We love that you enjoy science and that your love for space is mentioned often. You have such a big heart. May you always believe in yourself. May you always spread love where ever you go. We love you. Shine bright my little love.

March and a few other things.

Hello all! I hope that life is treating you well. These days we're busy and now that it's Spring break we have been enjoying and exploring more. During Spring break we like to attend a few library events and other events that they have around town. At the end of April, we'll explore an Art museum. The weather here has been nice for the most part. Tonight they're saying that we may get some rain and snow. Not much will accumulate, but it's nice to get some moisture. This winter was pretty dry for us, and now I'm hoping that since it's Spring we'll get some rain showers. How's the weather where you're at? I haven't done much of gardening yet, but I'll work on that once the weather is a little warmer. Our grass is greening up a bit though. Lately, we have been enjoying family art night. Usually, if we aren't too busy we paint on Friday nights. I find us a painting tutorial on YouTube and we all painted together. So far I'v...

Give me glitter and sparkles.-3 simple and fun crafts

1. Upcycled Decorative Jar Materials Needed: - Mod Podge - Sponge brush or paintbrush - Glitter - Wooden letters - Painter's tape - LED battery-operated candle - Adhesive (I used Aleene's Original, The Ultimate Multi-Surface Adhesive) - Silk flower (optional)   Instructions:   1. Start with a clean jar; I used an old candle jar for this project. 2. Take your wooden letters and adhesive, and glue the letters to the jar. Allow this to dry for about 5 minutes. 3. Use painter's tape to cover the top and bottom sections of the jar. Make sure to do this before applying the Mod Podge. 4. Once the areas are taped off, apply Mod Podge using a sponge brush or paintbrush. 5. After applying the Mod Podge, sprinkle glitter over the areas where you applied it to ensure full coverage. 6. Let the jar dry for 10-15 minutes.  7. Once dry, gently remove the tape. 8. Choose a spot to display your newly designed jar and enjoy!   Feel free to add a silk flower if you'd like to enhanc...
