Simple days...

Lately...

I've been sipping on hot tea, with lemon and honey. I'm generally not picky when it comes down to tea, but I have been drinking decaf.  -This has been my evening pick-me-up drink. Hot, and simply soothing.

It snowed for one day. Our pug is not a fan of the snow; so when it snows he makes his way out in a hurry and runs in as soon as possible. On this day we decided to have a play date with a friend and her son. It was nice. -The little ones had so much fun. And it's so nice sitting, enjoying the adult conversation.

Morning time, I spend it preparing breakfast for my little picky eater. -Apples, waffles, and yogurt. She seems to enjoy dipping her apples into her yogurt. After breakfast, we work on a simple craft. -I take this quiet time for just my daughter, and me. -It's very peaceful. We have been going onto her Abcmouse.com. We have been learning about opposites and enjoying our time reading a few of our favorite books.

For dinner, I prepared a simple dish. -Lemon-roasted chicken with, tomatoes, herbs, and potatoes. For our side, I roasted some cauliflower, with olives. This meal was simple and delicious.

Nights- lately I've enjoyed my sleep more. I normally have a hard time falling asleep. Once we get our little one to sleep, the lights go out, and shortly after we are off to sleep.

Next week I have both a dental, and doctor's appointment on the same day. I'm okay with my doctor's visit, and I'm actually looking forward to it. -I absolutely love my doctor. -He was the one who performed my surgery for my Endometriosis. As far as my dental visit, it's just a cleaning. Thank goodness. I flinch at the thought of visiting a dental office. -No I'm not kidding! So I'll make sure this weekend we take long park days, enjoy some time out in the sun, and I might even bake. I enjoy my time with my family.  I  hope you all have had a wonderful week.

**Hello new readers and a big thank you to those of you who take the time to visit and leave such kind words. I appreciate all of you.**

  2. Hi Stephanie,
Those paw prints in the snow are so cute.
When my kids were younger, I looked forward to play dates because it allowed me adult time too. Glad you had fun. I'm drooling over the cauliflower & olives. Is it easy to make?
    Have a great weekend!

  4. Simple days are the best kind, I think. Best of luck with the dentist. I have major, m-a-s-s-i-v-e anxieties about medical care - doctors, dentists, any of them - mostly stemming from my very traumatic pregnancies and births. Seriously, it's crippling. I understand your fears all too well. I am sure you will be fine. I know you will because I am always fine, even though I am scared before I go. :)

    1. Jennifer, thank you! Oh I know how your visits have gone lately, sorry! I did have to get some work done before, and those crowns are not fun. So I do feel for you. And about doctors, I truly understand where you are coming from. Thank you, I too think I will do fine. You have made me feel a lot better. :)
