DIY Flower-Embellished Glass Jar Makeover

Are you ready to give new life to that old glass jar? Join me for a fun and easy upcycling project that turns it into a beautiful flower display! I’m excited to share this quick and simple project with you. You won’t need many materials, you might already have most of them at home. Let’s take a glass jar and add a few embellishments, paint, and other finishing touches!

Quick Video Tutorial

Materials Needed:

- One glass jar

- Acrylic paint

- Heating tool (optional)

- Paintbrush

- Embellishments (I'm using flower buttons)

- Ribbon

- Hot glue

- Scissors

Materials for embellished glass jar

Applying Paint to the Glass Jar:
Start by removing any labels from the glass jar and washing it thoroughly. Then, use a paintbrush to apply your chosen paint to the jar. I began with a coat of white paint, drying the paint between each coat with a heating tool. After the white layer, I added a pink coat over the white.

Adding Ribbon to the Jar:
Cut a section of ribbon and wrap it around the upper section of the jar. Before securing it, make sure you have the length you want. Attach the ribbon to the jar with hot glue, and trim any excess ribbon with scissors.

Adding Embellishments:

I decided to add some flower buttons as embellishments for my jar. Use hot glue to attach them securely. Remember, you can also use stickers or other embellishments based on your theme.

Finishing Touches:
To complete the look, I added a few faux pink tulips that I had on hand. This beautiful jar is a great way to display faux flowers. If you prefer to use real flowers, consider applying a clear coat sealer or a water-resistant Mod Podge to protect the paint.

This project makes a perfect addition to your Valentine's Day or spring decor, or can be incorporated into various arrangements like tiered trays and more!

Thank you for joining me for this quick upcycled project. I look forward to seeing you again soon!

DIY Floral Wooden Jack‑O’‑Lanterns (Easy Fall Decor)

I’ve been having so much fun creating fall projects this year. These floral wooden jack‑o’‑lanterns  started as simple wooden pumpkins, but with a few pretty transfers and some soft paint colors, they turned into the sweetest little fall accents. I love how the florals give them a cozy, cottage‑style feel while still keeping that classic jack‑o’‑lantern charm. They’re quick to make, easy to customize, and such a cute way to add a warm autumn touch to your home. Materials Wooden pumpkin cutouts Floral transfers Acrylic paint (your chosen colors) Gold acrylic paint Green acrylic paint Mini dowels Hot glue gun + glue sticks Small wooden stands Brown acrylic paint Paintbrushes   Add the floral transfers I started by placing my floral transfers onto each wooden pumpkin, just arranging them until they felt right. Once they were where I wanted them, I used a little rubbing tool to press them down and transfer the design onto the wood. Take your time with this part — slow, even pressu...
