Welcome to The Crazy Little Love Birds Link Party #99! This party offers a platform for sharing inspiring content, including recipes, family-friendly blog posts, crafts, home décor, and other uplifting ideas.

This week
Thank you all for your kind and thoughtful comments on my daughter's behalf. She's doing well and healing wonderfully after having her wisdom teeth removed. We experienced a few rainy days, and I managed to do some weeding in my gardens. How was your week? I wanted to share this picture of one of the squirrels that visits our porch. These snapshots show the squirrel taking a break in the morning, lying on the railing. I guess the squirrel was thinking about where to hide those peanuts next.

Congratulations to our featured bloggers

  3. The squirrels on your porch are adorable! I don't think I have ever seen one here in Israel, but I grew up watching grey squirrels (and very rarely, red) in our garden in the UK.

I think the little squirrel is so cute! Squirrels aren't native to Australia, so we don't see them.
I'm sitting at #17 this time.
I hope you have a great week.

Colorful Summer Flower: Recycled Paper Towel DIY

Looking to bring a little sunshine into your space without visiting the craft store? This whimsical summer flower decoration makes great use of what you already have—think beads, pom poms, a humble paper towel tube, and a splash of acrylic paint. Bonus: it’s the perfect way to reuse an old frame and welcome summer in style! What You’ll Need: 1 paper towel tube (emptied, of course!) Acrylic paint (I chose a deeper pink) Craft pom poms (yellow makes a great center!) Assorted beads (medium for the stem, smaller for embellishing the petals) Foam letters (for your summer message) A reused frame (square or any shape of your choice) Scissors Hot glue gun Creating your summer flower decoration Cut the Tube and Shape the Petals :  Start by cutting the paper towel tube into four evenly-sized sections. Each section will serve as a petal. You should be left with four rings. Next, flatten each ring, then gently reshape it to form soft ovals. These will mimic delicate flower...

DIY Tea Tin Planter for Sweet Mint

Today’s tiny DIY win: turning an empty lemon‑ginger tea tin into a planter for a sweet mint plant that needed some love. I cleaned the tin, added drainage, and nestled the mint inside. It instantly brightened up the space — the colors on the tin and the fresh green leaves look so sweet together. I love giving everyday items a second life, especially when they end up this cute. Quick Video Tutorial  I began this little project by cleaning out an empty metal tea container that I had saved. It still held a soft scent of lemon and ginger, and I loved the idea of giving it a second life. Once I washed and dried it, the container felt ready for a new purpose.   Next, I used a finishing nail and a hammer to create a few drainage holes in the bottom of the tin. Since metal containers don’t have natural drainage, this step helps keep the roots healthy and prevents the soil from becoming soggy. Having prepared the container, I carefully removed the sweet mint from its original pot. The ...
