The Crazy Little Lovebirds Link Party 104

Welcome to The Crazy Little Love Birds Link Party #104! This party offers a platform for sharing inspiring content, including recipes, family-friendly blog posts, crafts, home décor, and other uplifting ideas.

It's Friday!  How are you doing? This weekend, I plan to refresh a bistro set, and I might even start decorating my porch for Autumn.

My husband has picked up a new hobby—he's building a guitar from a kit he bought. He's already painted it, and we're really excited to see him start building it.

Some of you may remember when I mentioned his boss gave him an acoustic guitar, and for his birthday, I got him a bass guitar as well.

I'll share pictures when he's finished with his guitar! What are your plans for the weekend? I'd love to hear about them in the comments. :)

Congratulations, Featured Bloggers!

    1. Jennifer, luckily it's a kit, but you get to customize it. It comes in plain wood and has the pieces, but you paint, customize, and put it together. I'm glad it's his hobby and not mine, haha. Thank you so much for joining us here. Looking forward to reading your post. And happy 18th birthday to your grandson!

  7. That's pretty cool to build your own guitar! I think that even beats learning to play one. Thank you, Steph, for featuring our MCM Bathroom Redo--nice way to start our weekend. Have a great Labor Day weekend.

    1. Thank you. So far, he hasn't complained much with the process. Luckily, it's a kit, and you customize it, but it comes with the hardware; you eventually put it together. He's still customizing with paint. We enjoyed your post so much; your bathroom turned out so cool! Have a great Labor Day weekend.

DIY Tea Tin Planter for Sweet Mint

Today’s tiny DIY win: turning an empty lemon‑ginger tea tin into a planter for a sweet mint plant that needed some love. I cleaned the tin, added drainage, and nestled the mint inside. It instantly brightened up the space — the colors on the tin and the fresh green leaves look so sweet together. I love giving everyday items a second life, especially when they end up this cute. Quick Video Tutorial  I began this little project by cleaning out an empty metal tea container that I had saved. It still held a soft scent of lemon and ginger, and I loved the idea of giving it a second life. Once I washed and dried it, the container felt ready for a new purpose.   Next, I used a finishing nail and a hammer to create a few drainage holes in the bottom of the tin. Since metal containers don’t have natural drainage, this step helps keep the roots healthy and prevents the soil from becoming soggy. Having prepared the container, I carefully removed the sweet mint from its original pot. The ...

It started with my husband having a cough, sore throat, sneezing, and whole-body aches. Of course, that was passed on to the rest of us, but we have been so fortunate to just have a sore throat. This calls for plenty of hydration, vitamin C, and occasional medication. I hope you all had a nice week. Just yesterday, the weather reached 102 degrees! It definitely was hot out. Simple Herbal Spice Tea Recipe

This easy herbal spice tea recipe is perfect for any season. It is infused with spices and sweetness, making it ideal for those battling a cold or anyone who just wants to relax with a nice cup of tea. Below, I will share how I prepare this simple tea. Ingredients   -  1 sliced orange      Be sure to wash the orange before slicing. I used an organic fruit and vegetable wash, but you can make your own if you don't have it.   - 1  tablespoon of mulling spice    I used the Spice Islands mulling kit.   -  1 infuser ball    - 1 tea bag      For this recipe, I used one BIGELOW Lemon Ginger Herbal Tea bag.   -  1 teaspoon of honey    You can adjust the amount based on your preferred level of sweetness. Preparing Your Tea   Start by boiling a cup of water. Once it's hot, add your infuser ball filled with mulling spices and let it steep for about 3 minutes. After that, add...
