Living in the now.

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.”  ―  Albert Einstein Lately...things seem to have fallen into place. Everyone is smiling, preparing for the baby, and enjoying our time living in the now. Life is truly beautiful, and we're all thankful. Lately, things have been peaceful. I'm happy, breathing-thank goodness, and just loving motherhood. The weather has shifted again. Sunny days are ahead of us. Out on the back porch enjoying the chirps of the little birdies, sprinklers on, and the smell of freshly cut grass.-I'm daydreaming about mid-summer. Lately, our daughter has enjoyed her time being hands-on. She enjoys splashing in the sink and helping me with dishes. -Even if it's pretend play, she's definitely my little helper. She reminds me, "Mommy, are you drinking your water"? -"Of course, I am baby. I do appreciate you looking out for your siste...

Weekend love.

We enjoyed the sunny days before the wind, rain, and snow came for a visit. We're expected to have this weather until late Monday night. Saturday, we attended a family event at our local library. Inspector Magic was there with his animal friends. Kids and parents cheered and laughed along the way. It was a fun event for us all. During the show, I just had to capture this bonding moment between my daughter and my husband.  These days she's growing fast. We cherish every moment spent with her. My husband and daughter worked on my Mother's Day breakfast. I must say it was an overload of deliciousness. :) Pancakes with blueberry/orange topping, grilled ham steaks, bacon, and a side of egg. I enjoyed what I could before I became full. I really enjoyed this day. Each day my family makes me feel so loved. I'm very thankful to have them in my life. My side of mango. This pregnancy has had me indulging in fruit. I absolutely cannot get enoug...

Learning...

Learn to get in touch with the silence within yourself, and know that everything in life has purpose. There are no mistakes, and no coincidences, all events are blessings given to us to learn from.- Elisabeth Kubler-Ross I'm learning that no matter what always give your all. I'm learning that all things happen for a reason. I'm learning that some people will never understand the meaning of a sincere apology. I'm letting go and forgiving them regardless. I'm learning to appreciate each day. There's beauty in this life. I'm learning that breaks are good and sometimes it's best to take a step back. I'm learning to embrace the simple things in life. I've learned that you should always speak the truth. If you end up losing someone from speaking the truth, so be it! I've learned that no matter what you should never become a stepping stone for someone else. I've learned that there is so much happiness in life.  If y...
