Make your own Mini Felt board

We absolutely love doing crafts in our home. I'm always on the look out for new crafts to do with my daughter. I want to keep her busy, and she's so into exploring, and trying new things. Today in the morning we headed off to the library. Every Tuesday they have Story time, with a craft. The librarian reads a few books, and after all the children participate in making a craft. (Parents are usually hands on with the craft as well)

Today we made mini Felt boards with cut out shapes. 

Materials needed for this project:

  1. Cardboard (Cut into a medium sized square)
  2. Glue Stick
  3. Felt (any color you choose for your background)
  4. Scissors
Cut  your cardboard into a square shape. After cut some felt, and glue it on your board. 
Once you are all done with that you can make some shapes using your left over felt. (Whatever shapes you decided on making, it's all up to you) Once your done your toddler will enjoy placing the felt shapes on the board. Pretty simple, and toddler approved. :)

    This is so lovely! Reminds me of when I was little. I might make one for my young students learning English - I'm sure I can find lots of uses for it and the children will love it.
