 These days we are up to a whole lot of fun stuff! :)
The temps have stayed steady in the mid 80's and so we have been spending a lot of our time outdoors. My daughter and I enjoy sitting out on the back deck in the evenings when there's a nice breeze.

Today I took my daughter to story time, and after we enjoyed a nice lunch with daddy. We just recently bought a complete learning system for preschoolers. Our daughter just turned two in April, we just figured we can get a head start on a few things with her. :) I've been enjoying some card making, and working on a few other projects. I'm hoping to soon open my online shop.

Yesterday I was able to enjoy some of my Korean Barley tea, which by the way I love! Korean restaurants normally serve a cup of this tea while you wait for them to complete your order. I actually ordered a box of this barley tea from amazon. Dongsuh-Roasted Barley tea bags.  My mom used to make all of her Korean dishes, but I can't say I remember her making this tea very often. It wasn't until I was older and I explored a bit more, and my visit to Korea.

I also came across a site called wegivebooks.org, this site provides online books for parents to read to their children, while helping others. We are in love with books in our home.  Our daughter already has her very own library, and it just keeps getting bigger. This site is perfect, and they have an online library of books.

    We had a huge collection of books when my son was young. He is 18 now and still has a great love for books.

    My aunt gave me her sons' collection of childrens books and I tell everyone that it's the best gift we've ever received. My kids love books.

    Nice pics. I've heard about wegivebooks. Sound like a great work. I love books, and even though I joined the populas and now have a Nook, I'm a little afraid the printed word is going away which makes me very sad.

    I agree, it does make me a little sad to see that the printed word is going away. You know its strange, we don't have a nook in our home, we still enjoy going out and buying either hard copy or paperback books. :) This site though is very nice since it helps others.     I'm not ready to give up the printed word yet. I'm sad cause our library on base closed down...budget I guess. So now we have to go down town. I'm not ready to give my child a kindle yet. I'd rather his feel the textures of the books and still enjoy the fun of reading an actual book.

    Dina, I totally agree! We still go out and purchase books. I enjoy sitting and reading to our daughter, and she enjoys holding the book, and flipping through pages. I agree, I too am not ready to give our daughter a kindle.

Simple Diy Autumn Floral Arrangement

  This simple Autumn floral arrangement takes just a few materials.  And is a beautiful addition to any space!  Materials needed 1 metal pitcher -The metal pitcher that I am using was purchased at Target and was $3. 1 lighted leaf garland - I purchased this lighted leaf garland at my local Michael's Store It takes two double A batteries. 1  can of spray paint I wanted to add some color to my pitcher.
