Create. Simple DIY Holiday Gift Tag Making

Whether you're gifting a bottle of wine or
giving a simple gift basket...
these simple tags will personalize your gift.- Adding, love, shimmer, and a whole lot of
creativity.

I love when I can personalize a gift, and send a little bit of me with it. And I thought this was a great way to do just that. You will need just a few materials, and honestly, this project is super fun, and beautiful when all done.

“You can't use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” -Maya Angelou

Materials needed:

*Paint sample cards (You can pick these up at any Home improvement store that sells paint).

*Pencil, or Q-tip.- I use this when creating dots with paint.

Paint

Glitter

Glue stick

Shape punch-out you can use any design you choose.

Ink and Stamps

Ribbon, or twine

Start with taking your card samples, and adding your stamps to each of your paint sample cards. I used gold, pink, and black ink for stamping my stamps.  You can use any color.

Once you have done this, allow your ink to dry. Once it has dried, take some of your glue, and apply it around the outer edges of the sample paint card. Next, take your glitter and sprinkle it over the glue.

Be sure to shake off any of the extra glitter.

Once you are finished, take a hole puncher and some ribbon.

Punch out a hole in the corner of your card. For this, I used my snowflake punch out.

You can use your pencil and dip the eraser end in some white paint. After, take your eraser, and gently press down creating what appears to be snow.

Loop ribbon, or twine through your punch out.

You can make a bow or just tie the ends off.

This is optional, but you can also add some washi tape to your gift tags.

It's now ready for you to use.  Add it to any gift, and you're all done.

Enjoy

2 Easy Ways to Upcycle Glass Jars into DIY Candle Lanterns

I love taking something I already have around the house and giving it a little new life. These two jars started out plain and simple, but with a bit of gallery glass paint, a few butterfly stickers, and some gems, they turned into the sweetest little candle holders. They’re soft, colorful, and full of that handmade charm — the kind of gift that feels personal and thoughtful without being tied to any specific occasion. I used battery‑operated candles inside each jar, which gives them a warm, cozy glow while keeping things safe and easy. They’re perfect for gifting or adding a gentle touch of light to your own space. Video tutorial coming soon... Sometimes the smallest projects bring the softest kind of joy.
