I love this wonderful recipe that is packed with vitamin C. It's beneficial when you're battling a cold or just need an extra boost of vitamin C. The recipe for this hot Citrus tea is from the wonderful Honeysuckle, and it brought back wonderful memories.

Although in Korea they use the Yuja fruit, which my Korean mother never made into tea, the recipe I found uses 2 lemons and 1 orange. After washing the fruit, I sliced it thinly, including the rinds. I then added 2 inches of ground ginger root, a tablespoon of turmeric, and a cup of raw honey, and mixed all the ingredients together in a bowl. The wonderful aroma of these ingredients together was just amazing.

I then stored the mixture in an airtight container in the refrigerator for one month. The next morning, I placed a portion of the mixture into a cup of boiling water, and the wonderful flavors fused together.

This wonderful citrus tea is not only enjoyable, but it is also rich in vitamin C, making it a wonderful treat for your body. Remember to store the mixture in the fridge for a week. Also, it's worth noting that this wonderful mixture is amazing in oatmeal. Just heat it with milk, add oats, and enjoy.

Thank you for reading, and I'm delighted to welcome new readers to my wonderful blog.

  3. I love citrus tea but I have never tried it with oatmeal. Great idea, thank you. It is also a great base for peppermint tea as well. Thanks again for the oatmeal suggestion.

Keeping Blogging Positive: The Do’s and Don’ts of Community Support

The Do’s and Don’ts in a Blogging Community If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years of blogging, it’s that the community can be one of the best parts of the whole experience — when we’re actually supporting each other. Blogging isn’t just hitting publish and hoping someone reads it. It’s connecting, showing up for one another, and creating a space where everyone feels welcome to share their voice. But let’s be honest: not every corner of the blogging world feels that way. Sometimes people forget that behind every blog is a real person doing their best. So I wanted to put together a simple, down‑to‑earth list of do’s and don’ts — the things that genuinely help build a positive blogging community, and the things that… well, don’t. Nothing complicated, nothing dramatic. Just the kind of common‑sense, supportive habits that make blogging more enjoyable for all of us. The Do’s: How We Can Lift Each Other Up Do show support in ways that feel natural to you Support doesn’t have to b...

Fun and Easy Cardboard Place Cards for Your Thanksgiving Table

Are you l ooking for a quick and easy Thanksgiving DIY project? Learning to create upcycled cardboard place cards for your Thanksgiving table using simple materials. Great for a festive touch! Hello everyone! I'm excited to share this easy upcycling project with you. We'll be making place cards by repurposing cardboard. I had some cardboard lying around and wanted to find a creative use.  Quick Video tutorial Materials: - Cardboard sections: 3x8 inches (cut into strips) - Faux flowers - Paint marker - Floral cutters - Hot glue - Scissors or paper cutter (Used for cutting the cardboard into strips) Start by cutting the cardboard into strips. I used sections that are 3x8 inches in size. Next, fold each cardboard strip in half and flatten them out by pressing the folded sections together. Then, use a paint marker to write the names and add any designs you want on the cards. After that, use floral cutters to cut faux flowers that you want to use on the place cards. Attach the flo...
