Our Adventures.-The Denver Art Museum

We decided to take a day trip to explore the downtown Denver area. On this particular day, my husband and I were celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary and wanted to have a mini date that included time with the kids as well.

Our adventure started with us eating at the Cheesecake Factory. We wanted to make sure our tummies were full before we took on this day trip. The food was amazing, and we just really enjoyed this time together.  The weather wasn't so cold, but we still made sure to bundle up in warm coats.

The Denver Art Museum is located in the Civic Center of downtown Denver. I also learned that this museum is one of the largest art museums between the West Coast, and Chicago. -We learn something new each day. This was actually our first time visiting the art museum.
During our visit, we viewed some beautiful and very creative pieces of art.  This museum has 70,000 objects in the museum's collection. There are approximately 18,000 in the Native Arts department, which are mostly in the American Indian collection. 6. Living near NYC we have our fair share of art museums and I love strolling through all of them on a cold or rainy day. I also enjoy visiting art museums in other cities and will have to remember The Denver Art Museum. I'm due out to Denver in April for a trade show and will check it out. Looks like they have some very unique pieces.

  24. I went a few years ago with my family, and it was such an interesting place! Unlike most art museums I've been to. They have rotating displays, so we didn't see much of what you did here, but there were some really unique pieces! And Cheesecake Factory is always a winner. :) If you're in the area again, definitely check out Crêpes n' Crêpes. Delicious! Not far from Cheesecake Factory. Keeping Blogging Positive: The Do’s and Don’ts of Community Support

The Do’s and Don’ts in a Blogging Community If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years of blogging, it’s that the community can be one of the best parts of the whole experience — when we’re actually supporting each other. Blogging isn’t just hitting publish and hoping someone reads it. It’s connecting, showing up for one another, and creating a space where everyone feels welcome to share their voice. But let’s be honest: not every corner of the blogging world feels that way. Sometimes people forget that behind every blog is a real person doing their best. So I wanted to put together a simple, down‑to‑earth list of do’s and don’ts — the things that genuinely help build a positive blogging community, and the things that… well, don’t. Nothing complicated, nothing dramatic. Just the kind of common‑sense, supportive habits that make blogging more enjoyable for all of us. The Do’s: How We Can Lift Each Other Up Do show support in ways that feel natural to you Support doesn’t have to b...

Succulent Centerpiece using Dollar Tree Items

Looking to add some greenery to your space?  Hello everyone! Today, we’re going to create a quick and simple succulent display using a round baking pan from Dollar Tree. I completed this craft a while ago, but forgot to share it with you. It's an easy project, and all the materials—except for the spray paint—were purchased at Dollar Tree. You can make this lovely decoration in just 10 minutes. Let’s get started on this succulent decoration together! Materials -One baking pan -Spray paint -Stones/rocks -Crushed glass -Artificial succulents -One glass candle holder Start by applying spray paint to the baking pan. I had a bronze color from a previous project, and it would be a great opportunity to use it again. When applying spray paint, make sure to cover the surrounding area and ensure that the space is well-ventilated.  Once you have painted the pan, allow the paint to dry. I used a heating tool to speed up the drying process, but if you prefer, you can let it air dry, which m...

Lately: Things That Have Made My Heart Happy

Lately, I’ve been holding onto the small things—the gentle, unexpected moments that slip in between the busy ones and remind me how much beauty there is in simply being here, together. We’re almost stepping into April, and even though this month has brought its share of mishaps and little detours, it has also offered us so many soft, shining memories. The kind that settle in quietly and stay. These are the moments that have made my heart happy… Welcoming Spring With Fresh Flowers One morning at the market, I picked up a small bundle of spring flowers—nothing extravagant, just simple blooms in soft colors that felt like a whisper of the season ahead. Bringing them home and placing them on the table instantly brightened the whole space. It felt like inviting spring inside, letting a little bit of newness and hope settle into our everyday rhythm. Sunsets That Slow the World Down Evening after evening, the sky has been putting on a show—warm gold melting into rose, fading into deep violet....
