The pumpkin carving contest is a great idea for our family. I think I will challenge my oldest son to a duel!
ReplyDeleteI bet your son will just love it!! Thanks so much for stopping by. :)
DeleteThese are great ideas for celebrating Halloween at home. I especially like the idea of dressing up and making some spooky Halloween treats. Still a lot of fun for the kids.
ReplyDeleteKelly, thank you! I think during these times it is important that kids still have some fun! Thank you so much for stopping by. :)
DeleteDance parties are my favorite at any time. While we don't celebrate Halloween, the activities you mention are great for any time at home. I will be noting some of them down to do with the kids.
ReplyDeleteGreat list. We plan on playing the games at home and dress up. There is a big chance we also do an online holiday spirit d&d like game.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun activities! I love Halloween movies - spooky, yet charming! Love the idea of a mini costume contest - perfect for this season of social distancing.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to grab a pumpkin and do some pumpkin carving. Last year, we held a fundraiser at my house on Halloween night where the community was encouraged to drop off non-perishable food items for the local food bank while out trick or treating. To help decorate, we ended up carving 30 pumpkins that were placed all over my yard. It was great!
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas! Baking an autumn-themed treat and then eating it while watching one of those movies sounds heavenly. Paint along videos are a great idea, too - I didn't realise they existed but it makes a lot of sense.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to do some baking this October! Time to bake, eat, kick back and relax!
ReplyDeleteI love halloween for the movies! Every year my husband and I make it a point to watch Hocus Pocus, The Addams Family, and Charlie Brown. My husband is also a small child at heart, so every time he goes to the grocery store, he brings home candy for himself. I think we end up with bags of candy for a month or two after. I've been contemplating pumpkin carving this year as well.
ReplyDeleteI love the Pooh's Heffalump idea! So unique. We lately have been staying home and watching Harry Potter. :) The pumpkin carving idea is a great one, too. Visiting from Crazy Little Lovebirds linkup.
ReplyDeleteJennifer, thank you. Staying home and watching Harry Potter sounds fun. :) Thank you so much for visiting.
