DIY-3 Tier Play Cake Stand

DIY 3-Tier Play Cake Stand Our daughter absolutely loves baking in her play kitchen. She enjoys baking pastries and serving them with tea. I figured I'd make her a 3-tier cake stand. I'm happy with it, and she loves it! Here's what you need to do if you would like to make... Materials :  Empty box  glue stick  hot glue gun  marker  scissors  craft paper   3 TP rolls Start off by finding a round object. Using your marker trace your round object on your empty box. I used a medium size box and traced out 3 circles. Once you are finished cut each circle out.  Next, using your marker trace 3 circles onto your craft paper. Cut them all out and glue the craft paper on your cut-out box pieces.   Take your 3 tp rolls and glue some craft paper around each one. Once that is finished, take your hot glue gun and start gluing each tp roll to your cut-out circle pieces. You may have to hold each piece down for ...

Cozy evening sunlight Snowy day More organizing/reusing blanket bags Our daughter and her little lamb. A quick piggy back ride on her back Tomato basil chicken stew Preparing pineapple on our food dehydrator  Sweet potato hash with spicy mango/jalapeno smoked chicken sausage For two days it snowed, and now it looks like a winter wonderland outside. I've been busy sorting through things. I'm still on a mission to have our entire home organized. I've been reusing a few bags, and boxes to store things away.  We have all enjoyed lying around, and being somewhat lazy. -It's really hard for me to do this; so when it happens...it’s never for too long. Lately; we have enjoyed cooking a few healthier meals. I cooked us a delicious tomato basil chicken soup.-It turned out great, but next time I will make some minor adjustments.  Lately; we have been using our food dehydrator a little more. We prepared some pineapple. W...

Love, happiness, and joy- Embracing this life.

My Journey through love, happiness, and joy... May your days be filled with love . Great love; that inspires you, moves you and lifts you up. May your days be filled with happiness . Happiness is so deep; one which radiates light onto others. And brings you to your happy place. Let us enjoy, and embrace these simple moments in our lives. May we be inspired  and inspire others. May our lips speak positive words... May our hearts be filled with joy . Learn to love, and embrace this life. I'm learning each day; embracing this life, loving those around me, and finding happiness in the littlest things. I'm happiest when I am surrounded by the ones I love. Childhood  I often find myself looking back on my childhood.-Outside-running, skipping, and skating. Just having a good time. I had a best friend, and it seemed as though it was hard to tear us apart. We laughed, shared secrets, and giggled at boys.-Oh the memories! I had a portable radio. We would take it to the fro...

Little Clay Bowls.

Little clay bowls  I created these simple textured clay bowls, and I'd love it if you created some too! Take some clay and mold them into a round bowl shape. I used air-dry clay for this project.  Allow it to dry completely overnight. Then take some paint and mix a few colors together and paint each bowl. I'm using these cute handmade clay bowls to store some of my jewelry in them.   Enjoy~ **Hello to all my readers, and welcome new readers. It's such a pleasure to have you come along on my journey. I appreciate YOU!**

A new year...

Happy New Year to all my lovely readers. We celebrated at home. Simple, and peaceful, there's no place like home. I'm happy to start a new year; with new possibilities, challenges, and goals.  I didn't make any resolutions; I honestly just want to stay committed to my current goals. Maintaining good health, keeping my faith alive, staying positive, and having a happy home.  Our home is a place where memories are made, laughter is heard, and a place where we feel completely free. This year; I want to finish a few projects we started. Organizing, researching new healthy recipes, and a few others.  I want to thank you all for being a part of my blog and sharing in my happiness. Embracing life's little moments. I hope you all have a beautiful year.

Weekend love.- Our days.

“Live your truth. Express your love. Share your enthusiasm. Take action towards your dreams. Walk your talk. Dance and sing to your music. Embrace your blessings. Make today worth remembering.”  ―  Steve Maraboli ,  Unapologetically You: Reflections on Life and the Human Experience Lately, I've enjoyed simple things. I'm happy I've started running again. I had taken a break, and in all honesty, I missed it.  During the week we took out our music bin; filled with a few musical instruments. We were shaking maracas, singing, and dancing. -We had a lovely time. Our days seem to be slowing down. A few days after Christmas, and our schedules are somewhat back to normal. We're actually going to bed on time. -By the time it is bedtime I'm drained! :) This weekend; the sky was clear, and the sun was out. It was pretty out but still a little chilly. We managed to enjoy some time out at the park. While at home... We en...
