Three Dollar Chalkboard Re-do

Hello, my lovely crafters! I went to the Dollar Tree and found this simple wooden chalkboard for three dollars. I was pretty excited because I love a quick and easy re-do project. You can find all the materials for this fun craft at Dollar Tree, or any craft store.  Materials needed One wooden chalkboard  Paint- I'm using bright magenta, and black Gems Pop-up butterfly stickers Paintbrush Hot glue Succulents- Just a few smaller succulents  Start by applying paint to your chalkboard. I painted my bright magenta around the outer section just around the chalkboard section. Next, take your black paint and apply it to the bottom section near the hooks on your chalkboard. I also went around the sides, and top of my chalkboard with my black paint. Once you have applied your paint, allow it to fully dry. Next, take your succulents and begin to glue them onto your chalkboard. I used just a little hot glue to add them onto my chalkboard. I glued my succulents on the left bott...

Ceramic Hanging Decoration Upgrade

Hi everyone! I recently took a trip to my local Target store, and I found this simple unfinished ceramic hanging decoration kit. The kit included paint, one bead, rope, and a tassel. I decided to give it a simple upgrade using my own paint colors, succulents that I had on hand, and a few craft butterflies I purchased a while back at Dollar Tree.  The kit was three dollars.  If you're ready, I'll take you through this simple upgrade. You will need: One hanging kit design Butterfly gems Succulents Paint- I'm using celery and antique white Hot glue Floral snips Start by applying paint to your hanging ceramic decoration. I decided I would use the color celery in my design. Allow it to fully dry. Next, using your second paint color, add it to the lines of your ceramic decoration.  After you have painted your ceramic design, you can start to add on your succulents. Using floral snips, cut your succulents to the desired size. Add a small amount of hot glue onto the back of each ...

DIY Easy Succulent Love Sign

Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well. I decided to work on a simple project that takes little time, and a few materials. Today we are creating an easy succulent love sign. Materials needed Black paint One small round wood sign paintbrush Gold sticker design Succulents Two strands of vines Adhesive/Hot glue Floral snips/ Scissors Start by applying your black paint to your wooden round sign. I applied paint to the front side of my wood sign, but you can apply paint on both the front and the back of the sign if you choose to do so. Apply around two coats of your black paint, and a total of four coats if you decide to paint the front and back of your sign. Next, take your love gold sticker, and apply a little adhesive to give it extra hold when placed onto your sign. I did this because I have noticed that the sticky backing on some stickers doesn't hold as well once applied on top of a painted surface. Next, gather your vines, and succulents. Using some floral snips, cut your vin...

DIY Upcycled Sesame Oil Glass Bottle Design

Hello everyone! I hope all is well with you. After finishing my sesame oil, I decided to reuse the glass jar it came in as it had nice details on it. This craft only cost me around $2 for a floral sticker pack. I already had all the other materials on hand. Materials needed Chalk Paint  I'm using the colors celery and mineral Craft gems Paintbrush One faux vine Hot glue A few floral stickers Applying paint to the glass jar To begin, get an empty jar and wash it. I recommend using a dishwasher, especially if there's any scent left inside. Wait for it to dry before painting it. Use a paintbrush to apply a few coats of your main color; in this case, it's celery. Remember to apply around three coats to make it look nice and even. Once you have added a few coats of paint, allow it to completely dry.  Once dry, take your second paint, and add it around the bottom, and top sections of your bottle. Adding craft gems to the glass bottle Next, add a little hot glue on the back of you...
