Snakes in the desert. Craft for little ones

Snakes In The Desert

I may have been missing Arizona and the desert life when I came up with this craft for my daughter. She seemed to enjoy it and it was a quick craft to do together.

Materials needed:

TP roll

Paper plate

Paint/paint brushes

Scissors

A few rocks

Craft eyes

Glue

I started off by cutting the TP roll.

Then using my scissors I wrapped and pulled the TP roll.

This causes it to create a spiral shape and curl. This is what you want to do to create the snake's body.

Next, paint each one and allow it to dry. Once it is dry, glue on your craft eyes.

I took a paper plate and cut out the center and we used brown paint to paint it. After allowing that to dry, we then glued on our snakes.

I used some leftover TP rolls and made a cactus for our desert.

Grab a few rocks from outside and set it up so that it looks as though your snakes are in the desert.

You're all done! I hope you enjoyed this craft.

Feel free to leave me a comment, or to share! - Thank you.

DIY Floral Wooden Jack‑O’‑Lanterns (Easy Fall Decor)

I’ve been having so much fun creating fall projects this year. These floral wooden jack‑o’‑lanterns  started as simple wooden pumpkins, but with a few pretty transfers and some soft paint colors, they turned into the sweetest little fall accents. I love how the florals give them a cozy, cottage‑style feel while still keeping that classic jack‑o’‑lantern charm. They’re quick to make, easy to customize, and such a cute way to add a warm autumn touch to your home. Materials Wooden pumpkin cutouts Floral transfers Acrylic paint (your chosen colors) Gold acrylic paint Green acrylic paint Mini dowels Hot glue gun + glue sticks Small wooden stands Brown acrylic paint Paintbrushes   Add the floral transfers I started by placing my floral transfers onto each wooden pumpkin, just arranging them until they felt right. Once they were where I wanted them, I used a little rubbing tool to press them down and transfer the design onto the wood. Take your time with this part — slow, even pressu...
