Our week. Living in the now

Last week I was so worried about all that has been going on in the news, that I did not allow myself to enjoy my days to the fullest. Once I was reminded by my husband to just let go, I felt as though a weight was lifted off my shoulders. I'm constantly reminding myself the importance of letting go, and letting things just be. So this week, I took the time to appreciate the simple things in life. We baked, danced, and just enjoyed the simple things in life.

This morning we welcomed a few snow flurries. I made us some cinnamon swirl pancakes. They were delicious, and I enjoyed a nice cup of coffee. Shortly after we bundled up, and headed out to the library.
This week we did some exploring. We took a trip down to the park, and explored the beautiful scenery. My daughter absolutely loves park days. Sliding, swinging, and saying hello to the friendly geese. We always have a lovely time at the park.  How was your week spent? Did you enjoy the simple things life has to offer?  I hope you did! :)
I want to take some time, and thank all of my lovely readers, and welcome all new readers. Thank you all for coming along on this journey. I appreciate all of you!

    1. Dina, I think we all should. I know at times I let so much get to me, whether I worry, or become overwhelmed. I really need to just live for the now! It just feels so much better when living in the now. :)

Little Clay Bowls.

Little clay bowls  I created these simple textured clay bowls, and I'd love it if you created some too! Take some clay and mold them into a round bowl shape. I used air-dry clay for this project.  Allow it to dry completely overnight. Then take some paint and mix a few colors together and paint each bowl. I'm using these cute handmade clay bowls to store some of my jewelry in them.   Enjoy~ **Hello to all my readers, and welcome new readers. It's such a pleasure to have you come along on my journey. This is a warm and friendly gathering where you can share your amazing ideas—whether it's tasty recipes, fun family activities, creative crafts, home projects, or any other joyful inspirations. If you love finding new DIY ideas and learning from other bloggers, you’re in the perfect spot! We just picked up our youngest daughter from summer camp yesterday. She had so much fun and met new people. The drive to her camp was beautiful. When we dropped her off last week, I took this picture of a cow as it passed by.  At that moment, I was reminded of all the beauty that surrounds us. Here in Colorado, like many other places, we are battling wildfires. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected, including families, wildlife, firefighters, and others who have been working so hard to deal with these fires. It's been dry and windy, and we could honestly use some moisture. Wishing you all a ...
