Our week. Living in the now

Last week I was so worried about all that has been going on in the news, that I did not allow myself to enjoy my days to the fullest. Once I was reminded by my husband to just let go, I felt as though a weight was lifted off my shoulders. I'm constantly reminding myself the importance of letting go, and letting things just be. So this week, I took the time to appreciate the simple things in life. We baked, danced, and just enjoyed the simple things in life.

This morning we welcomed a few snow flurries. I made us some cinnamon swirl pancakes. They were delicious, and I enjoyed a nice cup of coffee. Shortly after we bundled up, and headed out to the library.
This week we did some exploring. We took a trip down to the park, and explored the beautiful scenery. My daughter absolutely loves park days. Sliding, swinging, and saying hello to the friendly geese. We always have a lovely time at the park.  How was your week spent? Did you enjoy the simple things life has to offer?  I hope you did! :)
I want to take some time, and thank all of my lovely readers, and welcome all new readers. Thank you all for coming along on this journey. I appreciate all of you!

    1. Dina, I think we all should. I know at times I let so much get to me, whether I worry, or become overwhelmed. I really need to just live for the now! It just feels so much better when living in the now. :)

Transforming a Chocolate Box into a Beautiful Hanging Heart

Chocolates always have a way of making things better, don't they?
