Upcycle Your Old Craft Project into a Bunny Floral Arrangement

Transform your old wooden craft project into an adorable bunny floral arrangement through upcycling. This fun DIY project repurposes old items from a previous craft into something new and beautiful.

Today, I'd love to share how I took my Bunny plaque, which I purchased last year from Dollar Tree, along with a wooden crate box from a previous craft, and created a new display. We're making an adorable bunny floral arrangement that is perfect for the Easter or Spring season.

Spring Bunny Floral Arrangement

Materials for bunny floral arrangement

Materials
One bunny plaque
One wooden crate box
Artificial flowers
Foam block
Decorative napkin
Ribbon
Mod Podge
Acrylic paint
Paintbrush
Hot glue

Wooden bunny plaque and paintStep 1: Applying paint

As my wooden bunny plaque is from an older craft, I decided to leave the bunny white and added a few details, such as a cute bunny nose. I used black paint to add an eye to the bunny plaque.

Step 2:Adding the Burlap Ribbon
Next, take a section of burlap ribbon and wrap it around the neck of the bunny plaque. I reused my burlap ribbon from a previous craft,  there was no need to cut it. However, you may need to cut your ribbon to fit your bunny plaque. Use hot glue to attach the ribbon securely.

Step 3: Adding the Decorative Bow
After adding the burlap ribbon, take your decorative bow and tie it over the burlap ribbon. I created a smaller bow from the ribbon I purchased from Dollar Tree.

Step 4: Adding Mod Podge and Napkin
Cut the section of the decorative napkin you want to use on your wooden crate. Remove the second layer of the napkin. Then, take your paintbrush and apply a layer of Mod Podge over the front side of the crate. Add your napkin over the Mod Podge.

Step 5: Attaching Wooden crate/Adding foam blocks/Artificial Flowers
Using hot glue, attach your wooden crate box to the bottom section of the wooden bunny plaque. Place foam blocks inside the crate box, then add your pre-cut artificial flowers to the foam blocks inside the crate.

Succulent Centerpiece using Dollar Tree Items

Looking to add some greenery to your space?  Hello everyone! Today, we’re going to create a quick and simple succulent display using a round baking pan from Dollar Tree. I completed this craft a while ago, but forgot to share it with you. It's an easy project, and all the materials—except for the spray paint—were purchased at Dollar Tree. You can make this lovely decoration in just 10 minutes. Let’s get started on this succulent decoration together! Materials -One baking pan -Spray paint -Stones/rocks -Crushed glass -Artificial succulents -One glass candle holder Start by applying spray paint to the baking pan. I had a bronze color from a previous project, and it would be a great opportunity to use it again. When applying spray paint, make sure to cover the surrounding area and ensure that the space is well-ventilated.  Once you have painted the pan, allow the paint to dry. I used a heating tool to speed up the drying process, but if you prefer, you can let it air dry, which m...

Keeping Blogging Positive: The Do’s and Don’ts of Community Support

The Do’s and Don’ts in a Blogging Community If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years of blogging, it’s that the community can be one of the best parts of the whole experience — when we’re actually supporting each other. Blogging isn’t just hitting publish and hoping someone reads it. It’s connecting, showing up for one another, and creating a space where everyone feels welcome to share their voice. But let’s be honest: not every corner of the blogging world feels that way. Sometimes people forget that behind every blog is a real person doing their best. So I wanted to put together a simple, down‑to‑earth list of do’s and don’ts — the things that genuinely help build a positive blogging community, and the things that… well, don’t. Nothing complicated, nothing dramatic. Just the kind of common‑sense, supportive habits that make blogging more enjoyable for all of us. The Do’s: How We Can Lift Each Other Up Do show support in ways that feel natural to you Support doesn’t have to b...
