Of course with a toddler, painting took two full days. In between, we snacked on kettle corn and oranges while watching a movie. With this heat, I've been watering my plants early morning and later in the evening. After our time spent painting, we all freshened up and enjoyed a nice dinner. It felt so nice to sit and relax.
Our days were simple. Teamwork at its best! I'm happy to say we finished the painting.
How did you spend your time this weekend?
You're getting so close now and it must be fun to be getting ready. How nice to have your daughter helping with her sister's room. It's great to get her involved. I'm glad you're so excited and happy. :)
ReplyDeleteJennifer, thank you. You're always so kind and I appreciate you stopping by. We're all very excited and can't wait to meet our baby girl. :)
DeleteHi Stephanie!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting to prepare for a new little baby and have her sister help! You guys must be so excited! It's been so hot here in Utah, so we've stayed in and watched the World Cup and are preparing for the fourth in at Mt. Rushmore. xoxo Martina
Martina, thank you. We're very excited for her arrival. Oh I bet it's hot over in Utah. I'm glad to hear you have been watching the World Cup and preparing for your trip to Mt. Rushmore. It sounds like so much fun. I love how you guys are always traveling together. :)
Deleteso exciting! painting your baby's room. I can totally understand the heat this summer. >_< here its been raining and when it stops we have humidity to the max. Glad that your daughter loves to help out :) Also love her curls so adorable <3
ReplyDeleteMarizta, aw thank you. It sure is exciting getting things ready. Oh and you know when I talk about the heat, I often think of you. I remember where you are at and suddenly I don't want to complain much, lol. I should be okay with this weather, since I lived in Arizona for so long. I guess it's the heat and pregnancy combined. Lol ;) And thank you on the comment on my daughter and her curls. -We love them too! I hope you're having a wonderful Monday friend.
