  1. I love these positive affirmations and believe in using them on a regular basis. I grew up on Long Island in New York the birthplace of Walt Whitman so many of his poems and sayings are ingrained in us. My high school was named after him. The positive affirmation that I tend to go to on a regular basis is "I am strong and resilient, I can handle every situation".

  2. The one that speaks to me this week is "I am enough" because it has been rough. That constant feeling of falling behind in both work and. life, not having enough energy to go around is a constant battle. I need to remind myself that I really am enough and I can handle it. Thank you so much for the amazing reminder. Sometimes that is exactly what is needed.

  3. I absolutely love these affirmations, and they couldn't come at a better time. Positive affirmations like "I am enough" and "I will love without limits" are what I'm really focusing on these days while putting more emphasis on Loving Kindness both for myself and all those around me! I love the positive energy of this post, so needed these days!

  4. I really needed this. I am a fairly successful VA, and I have a great family, but I often feel like I'm faking it and soon everyone will know. I have terrible self-esteem from childhood abuse, so these affirmations are definitely something I'm going to try.

  6. I used to have a CD of affirmations that I listened to in the car each morning. It really did help start the day off right. My commute is much shorter now, and I haven't seen the CD for ages, but this reminds me of those quiet mornings.

  7. These are great - so simple, but that's all you need and probably more effective than longer, more complicated sentences. I love the way you have displayed them in little infographics!

  8. Self affirmations are so very important to not only be happy but also reminding ourselves constantly about our worth. The ones that I use most is 'It's a beautiful day' and 'I'll do my best'.

  9. These are great. I actually have a wrist tattoo that says 'You Are Enough' as a reminder to myself on a daily basis. I think I am going to write some of these down and put them up around my office. That's often where I am when I find myself the most frustrated with everything. That's when I need the reminders of just what I'm capable of more than ever...

Colorful Summer Flower: Recycled Paper Towel DIY

Looking to bring a little sunshine into your space without visiting the craft store? This whimsical summer flower decoration makes great use of what you already have—think beads, pom poms, a humble paper towel tube, and a splash of acrylic paint. Bonus: it’s the perfect way to reuse an old frame and welcome summer in style! What You’ll Need: 1 paper towel tube (emptied, of course!) Acrylic paint (I chose a deeper pink) Craft pom poms (yellow makes a great center!) Assorted beads (medium for the stem, smaller for embellishing the petals) Foam letters (for your summer message) A reused frame (square or any shape of your choice) Scissors Hot glue gun Creating your summer flower decoration Cut the Tube and Shape the Petals :  Start by cutting the paper towel tube into four evenly-sized sections. Each section will serve as a petal. You should be left with four rings. Next, flatten each ring, then gently reshape it to form soft ovals. These will mimic delicate flower...

DIY Tea Tin Planter for Sweet Mint

Today’s tiny DIY win: turning an empty lemon‑ginger tea tin into a planter for a sweet mint plant that needed some love. I cleaned the tin, added drainage, and nestled the mint inside. It instantly brightened up the space — the colors on the tin and the fresh green leaves look so sweet together. I love giving everyday items a second life, especially when they end up this cute. Quick Video Tutorial  I began this little project by cleaning out an empty metal tea container that I had saved. It still held a soft scent of lemon and ginger, and I loved the idea of giving it a second life. Once I washed and dried it, the container felt ready for a new purpose.   Next, I used a finishing nail and a hammer to create a few drainage holes in the bottom of the tin. Since metal containers don’t have natural drainage, this step helps keep the roots healthy and prevents the soil from becoming soggy. Having prepared the container, I carefully removed the sweet mint from its original pot. The ...

This party provides a platform for sharing inspiring content such as recipes, family-friendly blog posts, crafts, home decor, and other uplifting  ideas. Hello everyone! I hope all is well. If you celebrated Mother's Day, I hope it was lovely. How was your week?  Our week was busy.  We had doctor appointments, finals at school, and my husband has been working on a backyard project.  I've included a collage of our week.  My youngest used my phone camera to take pictures of our blooming clematis vines—one is purple, and the other is deep pink.  My husband received a guitar from his boss at work. He now has this one along with his bass guitar.  I've only seen one hummingbird at our feeders. They're so quick; there may be more.  I've been enjoying my time out on the back covered porch. I added a few new outdoor curtains to the space.  My youngest and my husband made me homemade apple bread on...
