10 Reasons To Be Thankful Now

“Express gratitude for the greatness of small things.”
― Richie Norton

Here are 10 reasons to be thankful:

1. Every day brings new opportunities and the sun is shining.

2. There are people in your life who love you.

3. You can give love to others.

4. You are in good health.

5. We have the freedom to enjoy many things in life.

6. You have the opportunity to learn new things every day.

7. You can cherish your past joys and memories.

8. Technology has made our lives easier.

9. Sometimes strangers show us kindness.

10. Forgiveness is always possible.

Take time to reflect on these reasons and consider what you are thankful for. Consider keeping a journal to record daily entries of your positive thoughts. Focusing on gratitude can help start your day on a positive note.

  6. It's easy to get caught up in the negative at times and focus on what we don't have. When I catch myself doing this I try to turn my thoughts to what I do have and what I am thankful for. A roof over my head, food on my plate and a loving family. That's all I really need in the end.

DIY Tea Tin Planter for Sweet Mint

Today’s tiny DIY win: turning an empty lemon‑ginger tea tin into a planter for a sweet mint plant that needed some love. I cleaned the tin, added drainage, and nestled the mint inside. It instantly brightened up the space — the colors on the tin and the fresh green leaves look so sweet together. I love giving everyday items a second life, especially when they end up this cute. Quick Video Tutorial  I began this little project by cleaning out an empty metal tea container that I had saved. It still held a soft scent of lemon and ginger, and I loved the idea of giving it a second life. Once I washed and dried it, the container felt ready for a new purpose.   Next, I used a finishing nail and a hammer to create a few drainage holes in the bottom of the tin.
