Simple Refreshing Lemon Lip Scrub

Start by gently washing your lemon, using an organic fruit wash if possible. Then, use a grater to shave the rind off the lemon. Take a small bowl and mix the shaved lemon rinds with about a teaspoon of sugar.  Add a teaspoon of coconut oil and squeeze in a little lemon juice. Mix everything together and put it in a small jar with an airtight lid. A mini jam jar works well for this. Keep the jar in a cool place or in the refrigerator to make the application cool when you use it. When using the lip scrub, gently apply a small amount to your lips and rub it in, making sure to cover all dry spots.  After using the scrub, apply a lip balm to help with dryness. You can keep the lip scrub for about a week, but always make sure to store it in a cool place or in the refrigerator. This lip scrub is simple, refreshing, and smells amazing! Do you take good care of your lips? I have found that a simple lip scrub routine helps to keep my lips smooth. Especially during the ...

Our state still has the Stay at home order in place.  This month we celebrated our oldest daughter's birthday.  She turned nine and is still very much full of energy.  We celebrated at home, Just the four of us. A baked cake, a few presents, and game playing. It was simple but filled with so much love.  I've started my seedlings. I planted some peas, carrots, peppers, asparagus, oregano, onion, shallots, and parsley.  I also went out and purchased some grow lights so that they can stay indoors while the weather has been a bit on the cooler side.  I also went out and purchased a few plants. Tomato, chives, romaine lettuce, and strawberries. I've noticed that gardening has helped take my mind of...
